Crescendo creates a short video that combines a visual (your gameplay, b-roll, or any clip) with a song drop. The structure is: visual plays normally → impact sound builds tension → your song drops with a styled clip → continues to the end.
This is the standard "BOOM short" format that performs well on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels — designed to grab attention in the first 3 seconds.
Inputs
You need two files:
Video clip — your visual content. Auto-cropped to 9:16 vertical.
Song — your track. Audio file, or video with audio. Only the audio is used; a small styled overlay of your audio's waveform shows during the drop.
Timing
The most important setting is the drop point — when your song begins. Set this around 4–6 seconds for typical Shorts (long enough for the visual to register, short enough that viewers stay).
Impact sound presets
Cinematic — deep reverb, 6 seconds of build-up. Best for emotional songs.
Short — quick punch, 1.8 seconds. Best for upbeat tracks.
Chiptune — 8-bit retro, for gaming clips and nostalgia tracks.
